ABOUT ME
Dr. Conway is a clinical psychologist licensed in Illinois.  She sees her role in therapy as helping her clients obtain the tools necessary to make life-altering changes.  She received her Masters Degree and her Doctorate Degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, which is an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program.  Dr. Conway also completed an APA-accredited internship program and postdoctoral training program in multiple therapeutic day school settings.

 

Dr. Conway works with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples to cope with and solve challenges they face in their lives.  The emphasis of her training was on cognitive behavioral therapy methods, but Dr. Conway also employs other therapy methods such as family systems and solution-focused therapy.  Dr. Conway sought specialized training to work with children, adolescents, and families.  Specific areas of interest for Dr. Conway involve the  assessment and management of learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Autism Spectrum Disorders.  Besides traditional therapy methods, Dr. Conway collaborates with families, medical personnel, teachers, and educational personnel as needed in order to best meet her clients' needs.
